DREAM DICTIONARY - Dungeon :

Dungeons are more loaded terms than prisons. We say "he was thrown in the dungeons" and its quite an emotive phrase. It will often link to bitter feelings of anger and resentment. Either someone is upset with you or you are very resentful. KEY WORDS and PHRASES :
- "she showed her real anger at him"
- "I resent my treatment"
- "I know I am not in her good books"
- "they will be punished for this"
- "its a dark and pokey little room"
- "festering rage"
- "feuds" and "duels"
- "its a flogging offence"
- "He is guilty"
- "a dreadful crime"
- "a gross error"
- "trembling with fear"
- "make an example of them"

Dreams make associations. Think of anything that comes to mind when you read through the list of word associations above. Dreams will especially link to recent thoughts and moods. If you can think of a way in which you might use one of these words then the dream may just capture that exact thought.

For instance, a "dungeon" dream could link to the words "feuds" and the dream capture a thought like "She wants to make an example of me".
